It takes about a minute before he moves the pizza box so he can snuggle up again.

He kisses Obie's shoulder between bites of pizza and even manages not to leave behind a smear of tomato sauce.

"Did you notice what I switched out while you were looking through that?"
He's curious.

"—nope," he says, "but I should have. Christ, what am I, Goldilocks?"

"What, you didn't think the one I used was just right?"

He takes a thoughtful bite of pizza.
"Maybe next time I'll stick around to watch you squirm."

"Good idea," he says. "Then you won't know exactly what I'm using on you, either." But Obadiah will still be able to see his face as he does it. Not quite the same as watching his eyes, but an acceptable compromise.

It's the kind of thing he should be asking, that he knows Tony will want to hear.

"Nah. It was pretty much all awesome. Even the parts I didn't like, I liked. —That makes no sense, but it's still true."

He finishes the pizza slice, wipes his hand on a napkin.
"You were very convincing in your distress."

His tone is a little teasing, since Tony's being bad at hiding how into it he was was half the point.
