Milliways's appearance on the other side of the bathroom door is unexpected, but more acceptable than it would have been fifteen minutes ago. Obadiah is fresh from a shower, his sleeves worn just a little longer than usual. His business in the room he was using is concluded, and he doesn't see why he can't get a drink before he goes home.

"Aww, c'mon, I'm sorry I called you cute. I meant it in a nice way." He resettles himself against Obie's side. "Keep talking, I like the way you think."

"I don't know," Obadiah says, giving Tony a gentle squeeze as he speaks, "now I'm a little worried you might start cooing if I pull out a crop or a flogger."

That would ruin the mood.

He giggles.

"I won't, I promise. And anyway I'm pretty sure you know a few good ways to shut me up."

Tony knows from experience that some stuff is funny when you talk about it and way less funny when it's right in front of you. Not that his and Sherry's experiments with pain haven't involved their share of laughter. It's a different deal, though.

"I can always gag you if you get out of hand," he agrees placidly.

"You would be surprised how much of a smartass I can be with a gag in my mouth."

Or maybe he wouldn't.

"I doubt it."

He sips his drink.

"I know a riding crop is a bit of a cliché," he says, "but it's less likely to do unwanted damage than something heavier. I can use it anywhere below the neck I can reach, for as long as I want. Which would be at least five minutes longer than you spend getting on my nerves."

"Man, it's gonna suck to be me, then. I get on your nerves a lot."

Especially when there is sexy punishment in it for him!

Dry:

"That you do."

He smiles, resting his head comfortably on Obie's shoulder.

"I'm sorry."

He chuckles.

"I manage."

The fantasies, is the implication, don't come out of nowhere.

"Still."

Tony aspires to only get on his nerves in the kinky way!

Obadiah gives him another squeeze.

"Apology accepted."

"Thanks."

...When did this conversation take a hard left into sweetness and light?

Obadiah finishes off his drink and says,

"Eventually, of course, it will be time to show you what you can gain from finally letting me fuck you. I'm going to do it either way, of course, but if you stop fighting me, you can get something out of it, too. If I let you."

"Yeah," he murmurs, "that sounds about right."

God, if this works, it's going to be the most amazing sex he's ever had.

"I'll show you how good it feels to be fucked," he murmurs. "I'll have plenty of things to demonstrate that with along with the gun. I'll work you open a little at a time, until you're stretched so wide you're not sure you can take it."

He shrugs slightly with the shoulder Tony isn't leaning against.

"Of course, I'm a busy man. Something might bring itself to my attention at that point. Don't worry, I won't leave you empty."

He can feel his heartbeat again, and hear his breathing.

"Damn," he sighs. "You are good."

Tony has previously mentioned how Obie can sometimes be a conniving bastard in the best possible way.

"I might only be a few minutes," he says, "but then, I might be quite a while."

There are times when only a few minutes can seem like quite a while. Especially when Obadiah has made a point of loudly opening and closing a door out of Tony's range of sight to provide the illusion that he might really have left.

He can imagine it. He is having a lot of fun imagining it, in fact.

"You're an asshole," he says, in exactly the same tone of voice he uses to say I love you.

He laughs.

Tony grins.

"And I dunno, I can be pretty patient."

There was that time it took him almost three hours to say please.

"But probably not like that."

Alone with his thoughts, half in and half out of the fantasy, turned on and helpless—no, he wouldn't last three hours. He wouldn't last one. Twenty minutes and he'd be begging for anything Obie cared to name.

"That doesn't matter," Obadiah says casually. "We're operating on my timetable, not yours. If I decide to skip everything and just fuck you blind, that's my prerogative, too."

He probably wouldn't, at least not the first time.

That's... yeah. Hot. In a subtly different way from the rest of it.

He leans his head on Obie's shoulder again and doesn't say anything right away.

He smirks slightly.

"Or I might go the other way around," he says. "Fuck you and then drive you crazy. I could spend longer on it because I would already have addressed my needs. You'd have no reason to expect anything of me any time soon."

Tony draws in a slightly unsteady breath.

"Oh, man," he murmurs. The visions unfolding in his mind are scary in the good way.
